CONSTRUCTION INSTRUCTION OF WB10 COATING SYSTEM

   1. Requirements:
1.1. Labor protection

– Workers are required to use all the necessary personal protective equipments including shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hard hats and work clothing.

 

 

1.2. Humidity.

– Humidity level of concrete floor must not be higher than 18%.

– Humidity of air must not exceed 90%.

– Construction site requires good ventilation.

 

   2. Mix materials:
2.1. Mix primer PrimeSEAL  WB50- including 2 components A và B

– Pour component B into component A and mix well for three minutes (may take longer depending on weather conditions and machinery …)

 

 

 

 

2.2. Mix primer Epoxy KeraSEAL ADO20- including 2 components A và B

– Use a mixer to mix component A for three minutes (may take longer depending on weather conditions and machinery …)

– Pour component B into component A and mix well for three minutes.

 

 

   3. Steps of constructing: 1 primer and 2 coating layers
3.1. Hygiene and surface treatment.

– Ensure the surface is free of dust, dirt and grease.
– The surface is roughened by special machine with suitable sandpaper.

 

 

 

 

 

 

3.2. Apply the PrimeSEAL WB50 primer.

– Use a long roller to spread WB mixture on clean surface.
– Apply roller in turns to ensure uniform coverage of the layer.
– Do not apply too thick primer will cause cracking and blistering of the surface.
– Le dry for 8 hours before proceeding with next steps.
– The pitting, cracks on the surface should be filled with KeraCrete NS50 non-shrink Epoxy glue.

3.3 Apply the first basecoat KeraSEAL 10.

– Spread the mixture of KeraSEAL WB10 material has been mixed on the area to be constructed with a short nylon roller.

– Apply roller in many turns and in two perpendicular directions, ensuring uniform coverage of the layer of materials spread on the surface.

– Finish the construction, make sure the paint layer must completely cover the bottom layer of concrete lining and be relatively uniform in color.

– Allow to dry for at least 8 hours before proceeding with the next steps.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3.4. Apply the finishing coat KeraSEAL WB10

– After the first coat has completely dried, the pockmarked areas on the remaining surface should be covered with KeraCrete NS50 glue.

– After the patching positions are dry, apply 1 coat of paints on these positions to ensure color uniformity before applying the finishing paint.

– Using a scrubber with suitable sandpaper, rub on the entire surface of the first coat to create roughness and remove impurities.

– Spread the mixture of KeraSEAL WB10 material has been mixed on the area to be constructed with a short nylon roller.

– Apply roller in many turns and in two perpendicular directions, ensuring uniform coverage of the layer of materials spread on the surface.

– The finish must ensure the coverage, uniformity in gloss and color.

– Allow to dry for at least 24h before operating gently above and 72 hours when using.

3.2. Apply the PrimeSEAL WB50 primer.

– Use a long hair roller to spread the WB mixture on clean surfaces.

– Applying roller in turns to ensure uniform coverage of the layer of materials spread on the surface.

– Do not apply too thick lining to create puddles that will cause cracking and blistering of the surface.

– Let dry for 8 hours prior to patching, surface treatment or subsequent operations.

– The pitting, cracks on the surface should be filled with KeraCrete NS50 non-shrink Epoxy glue.

3.3 Apply the basecoat

– For the first coat needing a high thickness, apply the coating according to the method of lamination. Spread the mixture of KeraSEAL WB40 material on the construction area by using a special level table, finishing the surface with a serrated table and air bubbles. It is possible to mix BC1 Powder into the material to enhance the hardness of the coating.

– For systems that require a thin film thickness, apply the first coat by a fine roller method, or evenly coat the coating with a uniform method of 1 to 2 coats.

– Finish the construction, make sure the paint layer must completely cover the bottom layer of concrete lining and be relatively uniform in color.

– Let dry for at least 8 hours before proceeding with the next steps.

3.4. Apply the finishing coat
– After the first coat has completely dried, use a scrubber with an appropriate sandpaper to rub the entire surface to roughen and remove any active surface impurities.

– Spread KeraSEAL WB40 material on the area to be constructed with a dedicated brush. Finish the surface with a serrated or short-toothed roller.

– Roll many times on the surface as soon as the coating is still wet to remove bubbles from the surface.

– The finish must ensure the coverage, uniformity in gloss and color.

– Let dry for at least 24h before operating gently above and 72 hours when using.
