Application process of PU KERAGUARD ADG20 of APT Vietnam

KERAGUARD ADG20 is two-component Polyurethane coating system, can resistant to UV. The coating after hardening has high antibacterial, prevent the growth of microscopic organisms such as bacteria, fungi, algae and other living plants.

Application process of KERAGUARD ADG20

Step 1: Applying primer KERASEAL PS60

In ordert to apply primer, the constructor needs to ensure about the moisture of concrete floor.

After that, mixing and using short-hair roller to apply primer KERASEAL PS60.

Notes:

▪  Do not apply primer too thick and create puddles on the surface.

▪  Allow to dry at least 7 hours before light traffic or apply next steps.

Step 2: Patching and handling the floor surface

KERACRETE NS50 is the best solution to repair pits on the floor surface. When patching, need to pay attention to widen the crack in the shape of V, patching 2- 3 layers for large cracks. After 2 hours you can apply the next steps.

Step 3: Applying the basecoat KERAGUARD ADG20

Use short hair roller to spread mixed material evenly on the prime surface. Apply in 2 perpendicular directions to ensure coverage and color uniformity. Allow to dry at least 7 hours before light traffic or apply the next steps.

Step 4: Patching and handling the floor surface

Use KERACRETE NS50 to patch the remaining pits. Patch 2-3 layers for large cracks. Allow to dry at least 2 hours before apply the next steps.

Step 5: Applying the topcoat

Before applying the topcoat, the scrubber can be used to scratch the surface, increase the adhesion for floor surface. Then use short hair roller to spread mixed primer evenly on the surface to be applied. Apply in 2 perpendicular directions to ensure coverage and color uniformity. Allow to dry at least 24 hours before light traffic and 72 hours before use.
