– During application, workers must wear full labor protection (hat, clothes, shoes, glasses, mask, and gloves).
1.2. Surface preparation
– Surface is clean without impurities. – Remove weak adhesion on the surface. – Cracks and pitting positions must be handled by specialized sealant – The construction area should limit high temperature, sunshine and strong wind.
2. Mixing:
2.1. Mixing KERACRETE ADF100
– Using specialized mixer, approx. 600 rpm with a suitable mixing paddle. – Material includes 2 components: solution and powder. Slowly add the powder into the solution, mixing with high-speed mixer until the mixture is homogeneous and free of clot and deposit.
2.2. Note during application
– Material after mixing is homogeneous, no clot and deposit.
3. Application steps
3.1. Applying the primer
– Before applying the primer, construction area surface must be carefully moistened. Avoid stagnate water and create puddles on the surface. – Applying the primer on the moistened surface with roller or brush. – Do not let the primer creates puddles on the surface.
3.2 Applying KERACRETE ADF100
– Spread KERACRETE ADF100 on the area to be applied by brush or roller. – Applying in several layers to ensure the thickness. – The minimum thickness for waterproofing system is not less than 1mm. – Drying time between waterproofing coatings is 24 hours. – Allow to dry at least 24 hours before light traffic. Notes: In order to ensure the advantage of product, waterproofing coating after construction need a protect layer to avoid UV and external forces on the coating surface.
