1. Requirements:
1.1. Requirements for labor protection work |
– During application, workers must wear full labor protection (hat, clothes, shoes, glasses, mask, and gloves).
|
1.2. Requirement for moisture |
– Substrate moisture content < 6%. – Maximum relative air humidity 85%. – Min. substrate temperature 13ºC. – Max. substrate temperature 39ºC. – Construction areas require good ventilation.
|
2. Mixing:
2.1. Mixing KERASEAL PS60 – Including 2 compositions A and B |
– Using specialized mixer, approx. 600 rpm with a suitable mixing paddle. – Add the composition B to the composition A and mix a further 3 minutes until homogenous (may take a longer depending on weather conditions and equipment).
|
2.2. Mixing KERAGUARD ADG20 |
– Using specialized mixer or paddle mixing the composition A in 3 minutes (may take a longer depending on weather conditions and equipment). – Add the composition B to the composition A mix a further 3 minutes until homogenous (may take a longer depending on weather conditions and equipment). – 5% solvent can be mixed to make application process more easier.

3. Application steps - 1 primer and 2 coatings system.
3.1. Surface cleaning and treatment |
– The surface ensures no dust, dirt, oil. – Surface is grinded by large capacity machine with suitable sharpening blade or Short Blasting.
|
3.2. Applying KERASEAL PS60 |
– Using long-hair roller to spread KERASEAL PS60 on the cleaned surface. – Applying by roller frequently ensuring uniform coverage of the material to be applied to the surface. – Do not apply primer too thick or to create puddles will cause cracking and blistering. – Allow to dry 8 hours before patching, surface treatment or applying coatings.
|
3.3. Applying the basecoat KERAGUARD ADG20 |
– Spread the mixed KEAGUARD ADG20 on the area to be applied with short-hair roller. – Apply by roller several times and in 2 perpendicular directions, ensure the uniform of material on the surface. – When finishing the application, make sure that the basecoat completely cover the below primer and the color is relatively uniform. – Allow to dry at least 8 hours before apply the next steps.
|
3.4. Applying the topcoat KERAGUARD ADG20 |
– After the basecoat completely dries, the cracks on the surface must be filled by KERACRETE NS50. – After the patching positions dry, apply 1 coat on these positions to ensure the color is homogeneous before apply the topcoat. – Use the scrubber with suitable sandpaper, sanding the entire surface of the basecoat to create roughness and remove impurities. – Spread the mixed KERAGUARD ADG20 on area to be applied by short-hair roller. – Apply by roller several times and in 2 perpendicular directions, ensure the uniform of material on the surface. – The topcoat must ensure the coverage, the uniformity in gloss and color. – Allow to dry at least 24 hours before light traffic and 72 hours before using.
