2. Mixing:

2.1. Mixing KERASEAL PS100

- Primer includes 2 components: KERASEAL PS100 and ACTIVATOR.
- Mixing ratio: Mixing ratio of ACTIVATOR depends on humidity factors and temperature of construction area. ACTIVATOR ratio ranges from 1.5 - 2% of the amount of material to be used.
- Mixing should be carried out using a slow speed mixer with a suitable mixing paddle.
- Because the curing time of the material is very fast, it is recommended to note that the mixing volume is not too much to avoid waste.

2.2. Mixing KERAGUARD VR300

- Coating includes 2 components: KERAGUARD VR300 and hardener ACTIVATOR.
- Mixing ratio: Mixing ratio of ACTIVATOR depends on humidity factors and temperature of construction area. ACTIVATOR ratio ranges from 1.5 – 2% of the amount of material to be used.
- Mixing should be carried out using a slow speed mixer with a suitable mixing paddle.

3. Application steps

3.2. Applying KERASEAL PS100

- Using long-hair roller spreads KERASEAL PS100 on cleaned and roughness surface.
- Applying by roller frequently ensuring uniform coverage of the material to be applied to the surface.
- Do not apply primer too thick or to create puddles will cause cracking and blistering.
- Allow to dry 4 hours before patching, surface treatment or apply the next steps.
- After the primer dries, the cracks on the surface must be filled with KERAGUARD VR300 and VR Powder.

3.3. Applying the basecoat KERAGUARD VR300.

– Depending on the specific requirements of each system about number of coatings, number of MAT layers 300g (MAT 450g), the TISSUE mat or the thickness to have a plan of number of coatings for this step.
– Applying the mixed material (KERAGUARD VR300 and VR Powder) on the surface to be applied.
– The mat layers must be pressed tightly on the surface by KERAGUARD VR300 sealant, the MAT fiber mat must be applied first and then the TISSUE will be on the top.
– Note: The mat layer is pressed tightly on the surface as soon as the previous layers have not cured.
– Allow to dry at least 8 hours before applying the next steps.

3.4. Applying the topcoat KERAGUARD VR300.

– After the basecoat completely dries, it is important to check and fix the problems on the surface such as mat opening, air inside the coatings, etc.
– Remove the impurities on the surface.
– Spread the mixed KERAGUARD VR300 on area to be applied by short-hair roller.
– Apply by roller several times and in 2 perpendicular directions, ensure the uniform of material on the surface.
– It is possible to apply multiple layers to ensure the completely coverage of the material.
– Allow to dry at least 24 hours before light traffic and 72 hours before using.
